RichardE954 Posted July 11, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 11, 2008 This is a Sky Suite Cabin on the Penthouse Deck of the Infinity. I've never booked a Sky Suite before, has anyone stayed in this particular cabin? The balcony looks to be a funky shape. Any pros or cons? I'll be staying in this cabin for a Panama Canal cruise. RichardE954 Posted July 17, 2008 Author #6 Share Posted July 17, 2008 i certainly will tell you all about it, i am so excited, but i still have some time ahead, time to lose a few lbs, so i can help myself to all the goodi:o ies on board. I just had a good idea! I know it's about six months between our cruises, but why don't you hide a note somewhere in the cabin and I'll see if it's still there when I do my cruise? It will be like our own private time capsule.
mrsmagnolia Posted July 17, 2008 #7 Share Posted July 17, 2008 i think that is a mah-velous idea, we can certainly tell how thorough the cleaning crews are! do you have any special excursions you plan to do? i haven't booked my air-fare yet, either, that should be a treat! :o
RichardE954 Posted July 18, 2008 Author #8 Share Posted July 18, 2008 I haven't been able to get a list of excursions yet, I guess it's too early. I read in one of the other threads that someone went to a cooking exhibition in one of the stops in Mexico and then they got fed lunch. I thought that sounded like fun. Do you know how far ahead the list comes out? Is your's available yet? I know what you mean about the airfare. Where are you coming from? I'm in Fort Lauderdale, so I'll just have to drive to the port and then fly home from San Diego.
siam Posted July 18, 2008 #9 Share Posted July 18, 2008 We had #6132 on the Millie in 2000 Baltic Russia. While its not rectangular its much larger than the other Sky Suite balconies. You should enjoy it for a PC cruise.
mrsmagnolia Posted July 19, 2008 #10 Share Posted July 19, 2008 hello, i have been reading about excursions and other info on the cruise critic site about panama canal, and reading others experiences and advice. thanks siam about info on 6132, i can't wait to set myself in that suite! i have to leave from ny to fla, then back, so i am anticipating some kind of sale from jet blue in the future. in the meantime i am off to atlantic city for a few days of sunshine!:p

mrsmagnolia Posted December 21, 2008 #13 Share Posted December 21, 2008 Hello, and Happy Holidays to all! We got some snow and ice yesterday for the beginning of what looks like a cold winter...Atlantic City is wonderful,(winning makes it even better), but looking forward to a "casino on the water"...still haven't booked our air, prices are crazy, and so are the limitations on baggage,etc... Tore some cartilage in knee and recuperating, getting ready for walking around the ship, and dancing into the wee hrs...

reggierail Posted February 25, 2009 #18 Share Posted February 25, 2009 How did you score the senior special? I'm traveling to Alaska with my 84 yr old mom. Thanks If you're on the 5-11-09 Infinity sailing there is a senior special on Sky Suites. Contact Celebrity or your TA to adjust the price. Just one person in the cabin needs to be 55+ to qualify for the senior fare. The per person fare is $1809 + taxes and fees of $147.50.
