Bermuda...port or starboard

Recommended Posts

hi all-

does anyone know if the Explorer always docks in the same direction in Bermuda? I was wondering wheter to stay on the port or starboard side of the ship!? I think I would like to look at the water and not the street....

Thanks for any info!

It can vary so don't make yourself crazy. We were starboard and faced the water but the several cruises before us docked the other way. It all depends on what the port master determines is the best way for the day's conditions.

We were on the starboard side of the Explorer in May, and we faced King's Wharf. We enjoyed the views of the old stone structures and of some very "happy" cruisers staggering back on board. We were off the ship most of the time in port anyway. Enjoy your cabin and balcony.
