Do men wear tuxedo's on the Orchestra on Carribbean sailings?

Eight of us will be on the January 17, 2009 carribbean sailing of the Orchestra. If the norm is for men to wear tuxedo's on the two formal nights, our guys will take them. If the norm is for suits and ties, then they won't pack their tuxes. Any comments are welcome.

No need to address the dress code for ladies in your reply. Our gals have this under control.

Thanks.

The Orchestra has never been to the caribbean before. However I've been on the Opera and Lirica in the caribbean and some did (mainly the Europeans) but you don't have to. if you want to, you wont be alone, but if you dont want to you wont look out of place. i usually find that it's the European women who probably dress up the most on formal nights rather than their male companions. Some men just wear a lounge (day) suit on formal nights and some just a jacket and tie
