Kids on Mariner

DW and I just returned from the July 2 - 9 Mariner Alaska cruise Seward to Vancouver. With the "Kids Sail Free" promotion, we expected quite a few kids. We have had bad experiences with children on Carnival and Norwegian so we do not cruise with them (not the only reason however). We've raised our children and have terrific grandchildren close by but we also enjoy our time with each other. This was our third Regent cruise. The other two were on Voyager in the Med. which we enjoyed immensley. We didn't see any children on those cruises. We approached this cruise with some apprehension. As we thought, there were quite a few kids on our cruise. Regent did a great job keeping the children occupied and interested in the Alaskan wildlife. The kids were not a problem at all and we enjoyed this cruise as much as our other Regent cruises.

I totally agree! We were on the July 9 sailing and there were many children but they were very well behaved and kept busy with the Club Mariner program. We hardly knew they were there and loved every minute of our cruise.

  • 5 weeks later...

Just got off a Mariner Alaska cruise last week - over 100 kids up to age 18. One family had "problem kids" if you know what I mean, but overall the experience was great for our own well-behaved kids. There were plenty of kids' activities and they made new friends.
