Carnival Discover Scuba vs. Coral Breeze vs. ShoreTrips

Hi. I was wondering if anyone has taken an excusion with any of the above operators (Carnival Discover Scuba, Coral Breeze and/or ShoreTrips) and could provide me with information on how their experience was.

What reef did they go to?

How many people were on the tour?

How much time was actually spent diving?

Food/drinks provided?

Time spent travelling?

Where did they meet you? (ship, pier, restaurant)

I'll be in Belize on August 26th!

Have a great day!

Kimberly

We used Coral Breeze last (only) time we were in Belize and it was wonderful! One of our best excursions ever! The snorkeling was especially good and the guide was one of the more attentive snorkeling guides we've had.

Well, I have returned and am able to answer some of my own questions - just in case anyone else wanted the same information. I booked through Carnival and they used he operator - Belize Dive Connection:

What reef did they go to? "Barrier" reef ...umm, yeah (that's what they said)

How many people were on the tour? 12

How much time was actually spent diving? 30 minutes underwater training, 30 minute 40 ft. dive

Food/drinks provided? water, fruit punch, fruit and chips/salsa

Time spent travelling? 45 minutes

Where did they meet you? (ship, pier, restaurant) direct boat pickup at the ship.

I really enjoyed diving and plan to get certified. The operators were funny and nice and very helpful. They took us to their island - Spanish Lookout Caye which had a gift shop, restaurant, manatee museum, beach, hammocks, showers, etc.

Highly recommend this trip to anyone who is curious about scuba diving!
