Casinos in Belize?

We will be stopping in Belize in December while sailing aboard the Navigator of the Seas. We aren't into cave tubing or visiting the ruins and it doesn't sound as though there is much else to do at this port. :rolleyes: Does anyone know if there is a casino in Belize? :confused:

I wouldnt want to gamble there if they did have one... Snorkeling is great!

QT actually when we go in November, we are planning on going this time.We went in March of this year to Belize on another cruise, but we didn't know about the casino until we had left the port.:cool:

We past by this casino on our way to the cave tubing. Our guide said they called it the Hotel and Donation Center. He said tehy never win anything in that place. Also I think he said they are only open a few days a week like maybe Thursday through Saturday.

 

Another option for casino action could be Freeport if you are on the Glory. We had not even thought of doing such in Freeport. But we took a taxi downtown and lo and behold they dropped us off right at the casino entrance. Well it was very hot that day and they do have air condition in there so two hours later I was dragged out by my wife after she was done shopping. I did get lucky enough to win $40 but I think she spent more.
