QE2 and QV meet

QE2 and QV are bow-to-bow today in Zeebruge (19 July). It is the last time the ships are scheduled to meet.

These photos were received from a friend of mine, John Little, who is on board QV. I also have a friend who was on board QE2 this past weekend and both have been having a fabulous time.

QE2 and QV are bow-to-bow today in Zeebruge (19 July). It is the last time the ships are scheduled to meet.

We were on the QE2 for this meeting. It was great to see the two Queens bow to bow.

The QV sailed first and they exchanged a number of horn blasts with QV attempting to imitate the QE2. I must say the QV horn is nowhere near as deep and loud as the QE2 horn.
