Car Rental Return in Miami

We are probably going to cruise out of Miami in May 2005 on a cruise that will debark in Bayonne, NJ. Airfare will be out of this world on a one-way ticket to Miami so we were thinking of flying to Fort Lauderdale and renting a car for our overnight stay in South Beach.

 

Does anyone know where to return the rental car other that the Miami Airport? Does any car rental agency have a RETURN desk at the peir or even Downtown Miami?????

 

Any help would be great. Thanks

My husband always drops me off at the pier with the luggage and he returns the car back at the airport and takes either a taxi or a van back to the pier.
