Personally would NOT use a taxi to go FLL to Miami. Not sure how many are in your party, but you can arrange for a Town Car for about the same money as a taxi. They have a Kiosk just outside the baggage claim area and no reservation is required. Other services must be reserved (as they are not allowed the same 'benefit' as Go Shuttle)......
