lumofny Posted July 28, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2008 I see that Chase Freedom credit card holders can redeem credit card points toward a Carnival Cruise. I've checked out the Chase website however can't find any information as to what exactly this reward is; a Fun Ship certificate, or a certificate for X people for any X day booking... Does anyone know what the Carnival reward through the Chase Freedom credit card is? Its available at around 18,000 points and at 1 point per dollar, its not that far off. I am not aware of the Chase Freedom/Carnival connection; however. I have the card and 18,000 points accumulated will get you a check for $180. You can use that money for whatever you choose, including a cruise.
LPLRN Posted July 28, 2008 #3 Share Posted July 28, 2008 We have the Chase Freedom CC also and just redeem the money and use that to pay for our cruises. We don't carry a balance, it adds up real quick. We just received a $500.00 check and there is still money to redeem at a later time.
Clairescurtains Posted July 28, 2008 #4 Share Posted July 28, 2008 You can get a Carnival gift cert at 20000 points I think it is but be careful. You can only use it for a newly booked cruise through their phone reservations number. It is also non refundable and non transferable. I found out the hard way but did finally get my points reinstated. The cash is a much better deal.
