joeeless Posted July 29, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2008 I booked an AE suite and was assigned 9672 and at the time it was assigned, I was unaware that this is a cabin for the disabled. Since the cruise is in September 2009, I expect to be contacted sometime before then offering either another AE suite, if it is still available, or an upsell to AD or whatever. Unfortunately, even if an upsell is offered, there is no way that I can afford to pay any more than I already have. My question thus, is as follows. Should I voluntarily ask that the cabin be switched from 9672 to 8630 or wait and see what happens? Now that I have seen the deck layouts, it appears that 8630 is directly above the bowling alley and this makes me wonder what sort of noise would that create in the cabin. If anyone has been in this cabin, I sure would appreciate your opinion and I will wait until I have read those comments before i do anything. Also, other than the deck, is there any difference between the AE suites on decks 8 and 9 (and I am not referring to the modifications for the disabled)?
