Latest on 2nd Train Seattle - Vancouver

Article in todays Vancouver Sun, reports that although the work for a needed siding has been completed there is no news at all when the additional service promised last year will begin. Apparently the hold up is a staffing issue with Canadian Border Services.

 

Provincial Transportation Minister announced it last year but......it's all on hold. Over 70,000 pax used it in latest annual count and it runs fairly full.

I am awaiting the new service. Sorry I missed that piece in the Van Sun so thanks for updating me....

 

I think it will be a great way to get to SEA for those cheap transportation deals and short cruises....

Hi - any updates on business class on the Vancouver-Seattle route. I have tickets in hand but for business class but I hear that those cars were removed. Thanks in advance.

To the best of my knowledge they have not put the Business class cars back in service. Website will not allow you to upgrade like before.
