They asked me for them at check in. Also print your edocs.

isn't there a little print machine on the upper right that says print. they will ask you for your copy i believe when you check in

Not that I would recommend or ever plan to do it again, but the last time I cruised, I had no cruise documents at all. I did have my passport. All the security and check in people were very, very nice and I was able to board.

Same here-I know though that they're not necessary (even if they should ask for them they can work around it if you don't have them), but they can make it quicker at checkin
