I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure 3 years ago ("You know -- the same disaease that Barbara Hearshey died of in the movie 'Beaches' "so said my 1st nurse in the hospital in cardiac care -- now that's GREAT bedside manner, but I digress....)

Anywho, my DH has done EVERYTHING since then - taken fantastic care of our 10-year-old-dyslexic-southpaw-Tiger-Woods-swinging- 4th of July son-birthdag, Josh,; as well as our mortgage-paying-(in his mind, it's his world & we're just lucky to be invited to be a part of it)-7-year-old-futbol-star-(even stealing the ball from his own teammate and running over his own coach!)-double-dimpled-woman-stealing-(that's not a typo -- who needs a girlfriend when all of the players' mothers think "he's just so ADORABLE!") boy, Jayson. My DH shops for groceries, cooks, cleans, mops (even scrubs toilets!), paints the house, vacuums, does homework with both, takes the kids to their practices & games, even coaches 2 seasons of Jayson's basketball teams .---- oh yeah, he even finds time to work 40 hours and take me to the ER whenever necessary and brings the boys to see me when hospitalized (i was just discharged yesterday -- again) We met when I was 15 and a sophomore on my high school speech team and his cousin, with whom I went to Catholic school for all 12 years, took me to Portland, OR one easter & Jay, was our chaperone, a 19 year old sophomore in college who was on his speech team...I had NEVER met a Black guy who was on a speech team who wasn't such an Eurkle! But, I was pure jail-bait, so we became long distance best friends and 13 years later i pursuaded (he says blackmale, I say coerced) him to marry me. So, 17 years later, here we are!:)

Now that you've got the backstory, I want to reserve some "tee time" for him when we are at sea. How do I do that? I want him to the the "virtual golf" and work with a professional. I want the whole enchilada. Plus, if anyone has any other ideas that can make this stay incredible for him, I'm open.:o

Thanks y'all! (I may "Texas-speak" but don't get it twisted, I am and always will be, a SAN FRANCISCAN!! niners are just in a re-building year, yeah, that's it! :p I'm beyond excited so come up with some fantastic ideas, would ya please?

Thanks again!!!:D

There isn't always a pro on board, but if there is, you can do some nice things. Usually they have a sort of "open house" on the first day of the cruise. Just go up and sign up for some sim time, or even better, a shore excursion to a golf course escorted by the pro. They have excellent quality rentals (Nike) and go to some really nice courses, depending on the itinerary of course.
