Holland America & The Baths

I was wondering if anyone has gone to The Baths with Holland America? How was the excursion? Was it packed? I don't want to risk taking the ferry ~ I am a magnet for things going wrong:eek: !! Thank you for your imput.

I'm on the Noordam on Nov 7, and just tried to book this shore excursion on Tortola, and it's not offered, as of a few minutes ago. I know it was there last week, but it must be full.

I've read other threads that say it's "doable" on your own.

Depending on when you are cruising on HAL your Tortola stop may have been cancelled. Most if not all of the Noordam 2009 itineraries have deleted Tortola in the past few days.

I am booked on the 29th of November on the Eurodam. I'm a little afraid to do it on my own ~ I don't have the best of luck and would hate to miss the ship if something went wrong with the ferry:eek: . Usually I am more daring and do other ports on my own! LU

We used HAL's excursion a couple of years ago because our port time was limited and the ferry connections would have been very tight. There were a good amount of fellow passengers on the tour and there was a bit of a wait for buses at Virgin Gorda, but nothing serious. The area at the the Baths was crowded just because so many other people wanted to be there besides us. However, it was very doable and enjoyable.
