Mariner Review 4/04 to 4/11

Recommended Posts

Thanks so much for the wonderful review. I'm so glad I stumbled across this one. I just reserved two balcony cabins this morning on the Mariner for the week of Nov 7th, 2004 and I wasn't sure if I had made the correct decision or not. I've sailed the Adventure of the Seas twice, and really didn't want to mess up a good thing by going to the Mariner. I feel much better now after reading your review.

Thanks. Can't wait to see if all for myself!

RACHELT: Where did you get the van to go to Paradise Beach? Were there vans outside the pier along with the cabs?

Tracey,

The Voyager Class ships (Voyager, Mariner, Adventure, Explorer) all have the ice rink, the large Promanade thru the center of the ship, the in line roller skating and are just larger ships). The Radiance Class are a tad smaller than the voyager class, do not have the in line skating, the ice rink or the large promanade (they do have a wonderful Promanade area...just not as mammoth as the Voyager class!) We love the decor of the Radiance class...dark woods, lots of glass and just a more upscale feel to the ship. Both classes have Rock Walls and Adventure Ocean. Our kids will be fine as they used the in line track only once and never ice skated.

You will love the Mariner. I saw your post earlier about Disney and I have to say my family much prefers the RCCL ships (the kids especially like the Voyager class). This will be our first time taking them on a Radiance class.
