browneyes274 Posted August 10, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2008 What does obstructed balcony mean??? I was assigned E208 on the Coral Princess. Does the steel come down at an angle there which would partially block it???? Does anyone have a picture??
cruiserdru Posted August 10, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2008 According to the deck plans, the cabin forward of yours is an oceanview so it comes all the way out to the outermost (ocean) edge of your balcony. That would definitely mean that you cannot see forward.

Well if that's THE ONLY obstruction then WOOOHOOOOO :D but something tells me there is more to it than that..
peteacher Posted September 14, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 14, 2009 So, I'm curious how was this balcony? I'm considering the same cabin.
can786 Posted September 15, 2009 #5 Share Posted September 15, 2009 According to the following site: http://mysite.verizon.net/res76zxu/princessbalconies/id6.html On the page with photos you can see that the superstructure comes down at an angle partially across this balcony, thus it is considered an "obstructed view" balcony. It appears to be the same with the forwardmost balcony cabin on the Dolphin deck.
browneyes274 Posted January 31, 2010 Author #6 Share Posted January 31, 2010 yes it did have the bulkhead coming down at an angle. but the view was still amazing!!! We had a nice protected corner and a nice open corner. I'd do an obstructed again any time!
