Past Guest Party, your own drink ?

I've heard that at past guest parties, you can order whatever kind of drink you want... But I always see them carting off trays of other stuff....

 

I've never seen anyone order something, you sure this can be done ? Don't want to seem out of place doing that.... Any advice about this ??

Absolutely can!!!Done it!!I love chocolate martini's. I order them only on the welcome aboard party and past guest party as they are outrageously priced:eek: . Don't hesitate to ask what for what ever floats your boat..they'll bring for you:D

Yes, we try to sit close to the bar (it may be behind a door and only for the servers) and ask early for the drink(s) of our choice and also tip the server for doing that.

Yup - ordered myself up 2 of those wonderful mango daiquiries and stumbled off to dinner when I was done :):)

Yep, I've done it numerous times. We too like to sit near the bar. Makes it easier and quicker.

Just tip the server or bartender for the extra work, makes them also come back and bring you more.

It seems to take longer... but you do get whatever you want. Just have patience and your drinks will arrive.

Absolutely, ordered beers last two times. It took a while to get the first one, but when I tipped the server, I had anothe one about 5 minutes later, right as I finished the first. :D
