We're booked on this too and it does look like a lot of fun. Just a thought............maybe you can call the cruise line and ask if the 250 lb limit means 500 lbs per buggy or if the 250 lbs per person is strictly enforced. Worth checking into. If they permit 500 lbs per buggy and say it is ok, I'd get that in writing so as not to avoid being turned away by the Grand Turk vendor. I would guess they stick to the 250 per person limit and maybe the buggies don't ride right or the frame doesn't adequately support the weight if one person is over the 250 limit. Can you go with your son instead? Good luck and have fun in Grand Turk whatever you end up doing.
