Hey everybody! First trip to St Martin and I am trying to figure out the whole beach scene. We pretty much just want to relax. I realize the entire beach is gong to have people all over it , but I'm hoping to find a place a little less crowded. Where is the spot to just hang out and relax on Orient beach? After reading all these threads I thought it was the pirate but recently I have been reading on these boards it sounds like the pirate may be just as crowded as Bikini? ? ? We only have one day(cruise), and we are coming in Feb 09. - Just looking for a little insider wisdom -can anyone help?

Feb is high season so the resorts on Orient will be full. Looking at Portime.com, how many ships will be on the day you are on the island?

The ship's tours mostly go to Bikini Beach so I would avoid that. If you don't mind lots of nekkid people go to Club Orient, no beach vendors or beach shacks there, just sun worshipers. and the Perch. If you are lucky the bead lady (slighly sloshed) will be there :D
