It was hard work glad it was not my phone bill, nice to see a TA working for there money at one stage had two phones on the go, it was hard work we would find a route down, but not back air lines that did not work together, the thing that got to me was Princess saying we can not do this and me saying yes you can because I know some one who is go away and check, and them coming back saying sorry you are right.

Hey Shogun, one Scot to another here..........just go for it. If it all goes ass over elbow then just turn on the Scottish charm and you'll get there!!! Living in this country you learn that the least little thing can cause panic and chaos. Once you're out of GB you tend to find that other people can cope with and handle things much more easily and with little stress. At the end of the day Princess are obliged to get you to the ship if they've dictated your flight arrangements. We're going out to the Caribbean and decided to do our add ons to London ourselves as Princess wanted to fly us down from Edinburgh with less than an hour and a half to connect. I'm thinking SCOTLAND and DECEMBER and SNOW or more likely TORRENTIAL RAIN. Needless to say we're heading down to London the night before and booking into an airport hotel. The cost of our flights and hotel are cheaper than what Princess were charging for just flights.

So glad you managed to change your flights.

 

We are going on the same cruise in February, also flying Cathay Pacific from Heathrow, so would be grateful for your views on this airline and any tips. Also, a cruise review would be great if you have the time when you get back.
