where the cruise ship docks

Does anybody know where the Carnival cruise lines dock at on St. Maarten? I am just curious to how close we will be to certain beaches.

The Cruise Facility is located at Pointe Blanche, just outside of downtown Philipsburg.

 

The island is only 37 square miles, and no two points are more than 8 miles apart as the crow flies. Distance is not a problem, but traffic can be. Morning and afternoon traffic between Philipsburg and Marigot or the Airport area can be horrendous.

Hey thanks that does help. I am just always curious about everything and want to know everything that I can find out before the Cruise. I figures that at this port everything would be pretty easy to get to other than traffic.
