New year on the Oriana

Going on the new year cruise, anyone been before? any tips or advise would be much apprecated as this is our first cruise:p

Firstly welcome, I assume you mean the cruise over the New Year period. We were on Oriana last Xmas on a 25 day trip to and from Caribbean incorporating Xmas and New Year and it was fantastic. There are lots of threads that will tell you about clothes to wear on formal nights etc and you should do your research there. You will have a great time. If you play whist you will meet a great crowd in the afternoons and if you don't, you should learn:D

The Oriana was the first ship we ever cruised on and it has some lovely features, has some annoying ones as well. Have fun and enjoy yourselves.Let us know how you get on
