14 night Auckland, New Zealand to Sydney, Australia mid Feb. 08 on Millie. Three sea days. Which nights are best to book the speciality restaurants? We enjoy the formal nights. Thanks!

I don't know your particular itinerary, but the group I cruise with regularly has a settled practice of dining in specialty restaurants on at least the first night of the cruise and the last night. We've found that the first day's food and service in the dining room are usually not the best as the crew has a lot of extra work to do that day. So we've solved that by dining in a specialty restaurant where we are assured of a great meal and great service. We also dine in a specialty restaurant on the last night to give us something to look forward to before we confront the harsh reality of leaving. It is also a nice way to celebrate the end of a cruise and say good bye to the people whose company we have enjoyed.
