Freedom Class GS 1598 beware if you're noise-sensitive

I noticed some people were posting their opinions on certain rooms so I thought I'd chime in about mine -

I stayed last week (8/23-30) on Liberty of the Seas in Grand Suite 1598 (port side). The noise from the pool was pretty bad. Any time the band was playing, the bass would permeate our room, so if we wanted to turn in early or take a midday nap, we weren't able to.

 

I usually like to stay on the highest deck, but because of this we booked a lower deck on our next cruise.

 

This may not be a problem for you, but I am a light sleeper and the slightest noise bothers me.
