Close in age

I will be sailing in April with my DD(on carnival) and five of her friends(and their moms)...They are all close in age but some will have turned twelve and others will not have had a B-day yet. I know that they dont usually let them into other age groups, but do they have some activities that both the 9-11y/o and 12-13y/o will do together? Games, dances ect...I remember sometimes it seemed like a few groups were together. Thanks for any info:)

If you ask, they may allow the 12 year olds in with the 9-11 age group, but not the other way around. The did this for us on RCCL.
