I believe I read that it's $15/bag for this service. Anyone know what the cost is for cruise line transfer from port to airport on HAL?

There is no cost for this program but it does require a ships transfer to YVR and that ordinarily runs about $25pp.

There is a difference between US Direct and The Luggage express service.

 

THIS was part of our boarding information, and putterdude is correct about needing a ship transfer. Also, this was for ships leaving out of Canada. It should be in your paperwork somewhere.

Luggage express is when you pay them to take care of your luggage upon debarkation. You set it outside the door before midnight on the last night. You do NOT have to carry it off and you DO NOT have any contact with your luggage until you get to your final destination. So, make sure you keep any necessities out. Besides the 20 dollar fee you will have any other luggage fees per your airline carrier. We did talk to a couple that says you are rarely charged for overweight luggage when you use luggage express.
