Boarding the Fantasy.

When you board the Fantasy do you go through one of those glass walkways into the atrium? Or do you board from somewhere else?

Usually you go through the glass hallway, but when it was in Mobile we went in the door where you come out in ports.

 

The walkway in Mobile was built for the Holiday and doesn't fit the Fantasy...yet.:)

Depends on your departure port. In NOLA you will have the jetway from the terminal to the ship. However, due to river issues Fantasy had been sailing out of Mobile for over a month and the jetway in Mobile is set for the Holiday which boards on a different deck than Fantasy and so consequently Fantasy pax were having to use a pier level ramp. Fantasy is in drydock in Mobile for 4 weeks right now and will return to NOLA in Oct. There should be no boarding issues once back in NOLA.

When it is in New Orleans...you board on Empress where the Atrium bar, Purser's Desk is.

 

I believe they boarded on deck 3 when in Mobile because the new 3 million dollar gangway is not there yet. But it will be when they sail from Mobile permanently...so you should enter on Empress there as well.
