Ne organized excursions please

My wife and I booked a cruise to get away and Belize is one of the stops. Have never been before. We have cruised many times and really dont like to take the organized excursions any longer. Does anyone have any suggestions on a beach or some beach bars/restaurants we can go to?

Sorry Dev, but this is one place where you need to take a tour. There isn't much in town except shopping at the tenderdock. There are some bars and places to eat at the dock, but your best bet is to go to one of the small cays. We had a nice trip to Bannister Island and I heard that Fab Tours has their own island now. Then there is Cay Caulker that can be had by water taxi. I don't think that there are any beaches near the port that can be had by taxi on the mainland. It is easy to book a trip to one of the islands once you get to the dock and they are 25% to 40% cheaper than the ship tours.

Good choice! This is a pretty unique tour and Belize is one of the few places where you can do it.
