Cab fare

We are currently booked to stay at the Embassy Suites downtown in Tampa and I was wondering how much cab fare will be from the airport. I am trying to decide to just stick with the Embassy Suites or try and book a hotel that has a shuttle service from the airport. Thank you

When do you get in? We are also staying there and the hotel said they have a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. If you arrive late, take a cab and they will reimburse you.

Last spring it was a flat rate to/from downtown, $22 either way. I would stay downtown, take the streetcar to Ybor, and eat at the Columbia, visit Channelside, or go to the aquarium.

The cab fare will be $25 from the airport to Embassy (as someone mentioned, it's a flat rate per cab, not per person; price went up from $22 to $25 a month or 2 ago).

 

Don't know about the hotel shuttle and/or hotel reimbursement that was mentioned.

Thank you for the info, and thanks for the additional info on what to do in Tampa. Since we plan of leaving three days prior to our cruise we really were wondering what there is to do, but with the additional links we now can plan our days in Tampa.
