StarPilot1960 Posted September 10, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 10, 2008 I am looking at the online booking tool and going through the Carnival assigned method. It puts me in a BL room category. Any idea what that is? Thanks.

StarPilot1960 Posted September 10, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted September 10, 2008 Nope - not bragging. I have never been on cruise so am ignorant. :o So BL just means balcony (which is what we want). I did go into the options and all balcony classes have a free upgrade to 8H, so why would I bother selecting a more expensive option to get to the same place? Thanks! You select edit, so you can put in the booking code, it then comes up with a list of 8H cabins that you can pick for the BL price. Otherwise you just get a BL and they'll put you anywhere. StarPilot1960 Posted September 11, 2008 Author #7 Share Posted September 11, 2008 We are booking today! Woo-hoo!!! First cruise, here we come. :D Thanks for all the input. Am working with a PVP as I have a lot of "little" questions. Got a slightly better rate than what was on the site - enough to buy our soda and water for the week. ;)
