Weather in Vancouver this week

Hi

 

I am going to be in Vancouver on Fri and was wondering how the weather is this time of year. Will I be able to go to Grouse Mountain and have a clear view? I was told it is a waste of time if the weather is cloudy. If so is the suspension bridge another option.

 

Any info would be appreciated.

Right now we are in a stretch of weather where our days have been in the mid 70's and beautiful blue skies. Unfortunately it looks like we are heading in some periods of light rain after Wednesday. However the weather forecasts are really only accurate for a few days here on the coast so things could improve.

Thanks that's all I wanted to hear as it is the day of my one day dinner and dance cruise from Seattle to Vancouver and I have a balcony so that I could sit out and look at the lights of Bellingham and the Gulf and San Juan Islands and sip on a few brewskies as well as a ring side seat for sailing under the Lions Gate bridge on Sunday morning.

Thanks PD - other than Point Roberts which I don't visit any more I always use American money - the Americans need all the money they can get.

 

It is interesting to note that free enterprise less government America has paid out more to bail out financial institutions in one week than the "socialist" government in Canada spends in a year.

 

It is interesting to note that the free enterprise less government America's current years deficit is equal to the combine total national debt of "socialist" Canada in it's history.

 

Oh this is a cruise site - I thought I was still on babble.

Another one would be what the free enterprise less government America spends in one month on the war in Iraq the "socialist" government in BC spends on health care in a year on it's citizens.

I'm afraid that they do not. You will have to go to a bank either here before you go or there once you arrive to exchange to usable currency. Canadian quarters will however work in buggies at the mall.

 

But taxis take credit cards and ATM's will give you the local $$ if your Canadian Card is good there. You should maybe check that b4 you go too. :D

 

I usually take local currency with me unless of course I'm in Point Robert's were everything works all the time and the livin' is easy......

I am not going touch these with a barge pole....we are heading south in about 6 weeks and I want to be sure and get in.:D
