Toto2Kansas Posted September 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted September 15, 2008 St Vincent is one of our ports-of-call this year on Grand Princessss in January. We've never stopped there before. Any tips on beaches or snorkling/sailing trips? Thanks all We always book a water tour that includes lunch at the Pirates of the Caribbean movie set and snorkling at the black sand beach with Wayne Halbich of Baleine Tours. His website is located here: http://whalbich.googlepages.com/home We also sail on the Grand in January (2nd) and our roll call has a group together for another wonderful day in Wayne's World. We have taken this tour 3 or 4 times now, and it is a great day if you enjoy the water. You will need a minimum of 10 people for this tour, and it is usually quite easy to find them when you join your roll call for your sailing. The boat can hold up to 20 some passengers, but 10 is the minimum he will accept on the tour. Price varys depending on the number of passengers and the cost of fuel but usually ranges between $75-$100 per person for a full boat and included snorkel gear, unlimited rum punch, and lunch. He picks you up right at the end of the pier where your ship docks and returns you there in plenty of time for re-boarding. I can definitely recommend this tour, it is one of the best in the Southern Caribbean we have ever taken, probably why we always return for the same tour each time we visit Barbados. You can locate your roll call for your sailing date here on Cruise Critic: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
