Sitters on the cruise

WHENNEY

Recommended Posts

There is no individual baby sitters in the cabins available on Carnival.

The Kids Clubs run basically 9AM - 10PM for free with some breaks on Sea Days. You pick them up for lunch around 12-2 and for dinner around 5-7.

On Port Days, these breaks are not as long since some parents leave the kids onboard while they do a ship excursion.

After 10PM, it is $6 per hour for the first child, $4 per hour for additional children..until around 3AM.

This is only for children 2 years of age or older and they are VERY strict about this age limit.

From Carnival's website, FAQ's:

What are the fees for Babysitting?spacer.gifBesides the complimentary Camp Carnival activities that are available everyday, babysitting is also available every evening from 10pm to 3am. Infants - 8 year olds have their slumber party in the Playroom with movie time, snacks and drinks. 9-11 year olds have After Hours with video games, movies, board games, snacks and drink from 10pm to 12am.. They will join regular babysitting from 12am to 3am. The charge for babysitting is $6.00 per hour for the first child and $4.00 for each additional sibling and will be charged to your Sail & Sign card. We also work out the charge per 15 minute intervals, so we do not charge parents if their child does not stay a full hour and only part of it. Please sign up with the Youth Staff in advance.

G'ma is correct.

I should have been more specific....AFTER 10PM..the babysitting is for any age. But it is still not in the cabins, but in a group setting.

The 2 years of age restriction is for the normal free Camp Carnival activities.

Carnival does provide some fee based hours (which vary from ship to ship) on port days for children under the age of 2. See the Capers....
