shell52602 Posted September 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2008 We just got our TBA room. It is catagory 4C U151, It is an inside cabin aboard the Carnival Inspiration. I have never cruised on this deck before. Has anyone cruised in this location? Tell me more about the pros and cons please. Also, what do the different catagories mean? I know the room number means Upper deck room 151. Thanks ahead of time!

Thanks ahead of time! carnival cat are easy to understand. all inside cabins are cat 4 oceanview cabins that feature a window are cat 6 balconies are 8 then suites are 11 & 12 a few ships have 9A which are balconies on the corner backs of the ship. (wrap around) now the letter--- denotes the deck-- with A being the lowest in the category-- a 4A is the riveria deck (inside cabin) a 6A -riveria deck is an ocean view. next is a 4B and 6B which is a main deck and etc etc have you cruise an inside cabin before? they are extremely dark 24 hours a day. take an al;arm clock or use the telephone for a wake up service or you could spend a considerable amount of time sleeping. They are good for naps. you are located next to a white area--that white area is crew stairs which gets crew members from one area to the next. you are under and over cabin areas and away from public areas. you are midship-- you want to take the aft elevator to the food/pools
