We are not cruising until May 24, 2009 but I've read quite a few forums talking about waiting on the phone to book excursions exc. Which ones book up so fast that you have to be on the phone the very first minute possible? This is our 1st cruise ever (there are 8 of us going) so we are beyond lost. Thanks to all!!

As a new Disney cruiser you can book your excursions, spa appointments, and specialty Palo meals exactly 75 days before your cruise. We usually book ours on the Disney website by logging into our reservation right at midnight of the day we can book. If you call them to reserve you have to wait until their offices open in the morning.

Unfortunately some things do book up quickly so you want to book your things as soon as you can after your 75 day mark arrives. The good news is that if you have a problem with booking you can sometimes book things when you get on the ship. They seem to save a few open slots for latecomers.

I've seen dolphin excursions go pretty fast as well as any reservation times for Palo. Some spa appointments seem to book fast, too. Hopefully other Cruise Critics here can add their experiences to this.
