I have been doing some web surfing and found some interesting websites. I heard that it is the best fishing in the world....hmmm...don't know about that...but I can't wait!!!

JerryTammy - We are on the same sailing as you and are really interested in getting some fishing in. I think Belize is what we've narrowed down to.

 

I'm leaning away from the Carnival tour as there are a lot of people and

'taking turns' on the lines. I've been looking into 'non Carnival' fishing

trips and they seem better priced and more personal/small groups. I'll let you know if I find anything - so far I've been talking to Coralbreezetours - they offer 4 hrs of deep sea or flats fishing for $250 (for 2 people!).....pretty good deal.

 

I'd love to hear from anyone who has fished in Belize.....it seems really hard to find any fishing information on here.

I have done this one twice, once through Carnival and once through NCL. The same thing though. We never shared lines. The excursion is too short in my opinion for the price but we did catch fish. ONe guy had a huge something on the line and fought it for about 20 minutes until it broke the line. If you like to fish, it is a good one. I love to fish and could do it all day. They set everything up for you and it could not be easier.
