Sovereign Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom

My wife and I are cruising in May on Sovereign and have a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom(156 sq ft) on the 9th floor. Wondering if anyone can inform me about the window, view, and room size compared to regular Oceanview room.

It is larger. Ours had a fine view looking out - but it was obstructed when we tried to look down. There were lifeboats and that sort of stuff in the way. We still had a great time. I don't remember my cabin number.

 

Work like a dog. Live like a pauper. Save all your money. Then Cruise!

We were on Sovereign last year in a egular oceanview - deck 7. It was 122 square ft.

Deck 7 is also the walking deck so people were able to look right in our cabin. You shoild have a wonderful cabin on deck 9.

We have been on the 9th deck twice. No problem with the view except you will see the tops of the life boats.

 

My wife has claustrophobia (sp). The cabin size you are referring to was adequate for her, she had no problems with it.
