Super restaurant in Cozumel, you'll LOVE it...

and it's off the beaten path. Great Mexican food (of course), super service, VERY cold Mexican beer and live music (Mexican, of course), and the prices are just great. American dollars are welcome.

 

We've been going to La Choza (The Shack) for several years and we don't EVER miss it when we stop in Cozumel.

 

The taxi drivers all know how to get there and it's a short walk back to the main drag to shop and such. There is some great shopping down the side street on your way back toward the ocean.

 

Stop in and enjoy the family restaurant. We know we will.

Wish I'd known! Just got back from a cruise which included Cozumel! We had lunch at Las Palmeras; it was also very good, but right in the middle of the beaten path.

If you haven't already done so, please post this over on the Cozumel board, I'm sure folks visiting there would appreciate it as well.

La Choza regularly gets recommended on the Cozumel section when people ask for restaurant recommendations.
