All I have so far is this one, which I posted on another thread (not sure now which one it was, sorry!)

This is the new TV screen on deck on Destiny. My boyfriend probably has more which I can post once he's home, but you'll have to wait another couple of weeks for that!

I leave on the second, maybe you could give us a teaser review before u get back?

The couple we are traveling with have a National Broadband connect card for their laptop that picks up off the satellite, so will try to get a short review out the first afternoon (Saturday the 27th) while having our drinks. :D I figure I can set it up on the deck while everyone is boarding and download the few quick pictures I can take. Won't be alot but should show you the new refurb and hold you until you get on the ship Thursday.... as we are getting off.:(

Neat picture, but someone missed putting in a burnt out lightbulb (upper deck by the post on the right side of the picure).

My favorite time to see ships is at night when they are all lit up. There is just something about a cruise ship at night with all the lights on.

Sorry you guys - I am the one who wins in the casino :D.

I won $10,000 on our last trip in Aug :p and another individual won a BMW on the same cruise.

So unless you are cruising in Feb you are out of luck.

I will be anxious to read all of your reviews and see any pics. I booked my sister and me on the Destiny today. I sailed on the Imagination in September and my PVP let me know today that Carnival was offering some sort of a promo sale on the Destiny. In addition to the sale price, they gave me an extra $50 off the cabin since we had just sailed and were rebooking right away. Sweet deal -- couldn't pass on it, so 34 days and counting!!

Woot Woot Woooooooooooo Hooooooooooooooooo!!!

Here's the latest post dry-dock review, from the members review section...not what we all were hoping for...

"Needs To Go Back To Dry Dock"

We arrived at the Port of Miami via Carnival's Bus at approximately 12 noon. Embarkation took over 5 1/2 to six hours. Everyone was forced to wait out in the hot heat at the Port. No one was allowed in the Port other than to use the bathroom. We received several stories in regards to the delay. One Carnival employee told us a crane had to be moved. Another one told us there was a problem getting the crew on board. Another one told us the computers were down and they had to check everyone in manually. A supervisor told us The Ships Not Ready. Thats the one we went with, cause she was absolutely right.

Cabin: We got on the ship approximately 6 pm and proceeded to our cabin, just in time for the toilet to overflow and flood the bathroom and the cabin. No we hadn't even had a chance to use it yet. Our cabin, definitely not refurbished during the dry dock. The wall paper was ripped in several spots, the safe broken, the closet door didn't close all the way, the light switch was lose and had separated from the wall. The over flowed toilet was the last we saw of plumbing for the rest of the week. No toilet, no plumbing, no nothing, for the entire trip. We came to find out that we were not the only ones, The Crew cabins and many other guest cabins had the same problem. For you cabin guru's, this cabin was a disaster. But our cabin steward he was great.

Public Areas: The new carpeting was never completed and we walked over plywood nailed to the floor. Part of the Spa deck was closed and we did notice packing crates in different locations. The elevators didn't work properly and a few were shut down. The gift shops were good.

Lido Deck: After being on 9 Carnival Cruises, I can say the only refurbishment on this deck was the new seaside theatre screen. It worked wonderfully. But they only put the movies on at 2 pm. We came back on from the island to see the credits for "50 First Dates". We would have loved to be able to watch a movie out on the deck at night. Not everyone sailing is into MTV music videos, which is pretty much all that played on the big screen. There was a section of the deck by the pool that was closed off for repairs, and quite a bit of rust.

The Universe Dining Room: Electrical problems with the lights, they kept going dim and then getting real bright. This went on every night for the entire cruise. Our wait staff was great. Food was okay. Not up to the other Carnival ships that I have sailed on.

Staff: for the most part friendly.

Entertainment: Okay.

Day One: We didn't sail till almost 9 pm out of Miami, so there was no sail away party. Many guests were annoyed, 6 hours to get on the ship, and a few hours more, while they finished loading it. The pools remained closed the whole time, they did not open till the next day, everything was closed, the shops were closed, nothing to do.

The ship itself: worn and in need of alot more than a spit polish. According to the plumber, the ship had engine problems, the vacuum system wasn't working properly, and they had problems with the big pipes below. That explained no plumbing. And Out of the mouth of a higher up Carnival employee on this ship "The ship never should of sailed". We agree 100%!
