For long time HAL fan"s

Recommended Posts

Hi long time HAL fan's One ? Can you remember sailing from HAL 5th st pier in Hoboken NJ ? Before HAL left for there new pier 40 in NYC back in 1963 ? As a young boy growing up in Hoboken NJ i alway love going down to the 5th st pier to see the big 3 at the time the Neiw Amsterdam Rotterdam & Statendam .I love the winter time, night sailings with the NYC skyine as the back drop .At the time you could vist the ships .My all time favorit ship was the Neiw Amsterdam of 1938 .What a ship .Very Art Deco ! They don"t msake them like that anymore .

IT"S GOOD TO BE ON A WELL RUN SHIP

Mr. V - I appreciate your words and the impressive list of cruise lines you have been on. You'll see some common lines between us. I too miss the old greats. Some of them don't even float any longer. it's sad. However, I have to admit that I am very excited about CL's Oasis of the Seas. I think I have my wife behind the idea of going on her in late '09 or '10. Wish me luck.
