Valor vs. Miracle

Hi All,

 

Trying to decide between these two ships for an April 2009 cruise. The Valor's intinerary is Roatan, Cozumel, Belize and Grand Cayman on a 7 day. The intinerary for the Miracle is Belize, Panama, Costa Rica on an 8 day. Price is not a concern.

 

Wondering what you guys think of these two intineraries. We have two young children - ages 4 and 6.

 

Any input would be appreciated.

Both ships are wonderful. It depends on whether you want 2 sea days or 4 sea days. As young as your children are, you kids may love the ship activities more than the ports. Having 4 port days on a 7 day cruise is a little hectic for us, but you may like it.

Having done the Miracle and about to do the Valor, I would choose the 8 day, four sea days itinerary. Four ports on a 7 day cruise is exhausting. I'm already stressing about it.

 

Another thing to consider is that the kids will most likely be with Camp Carnival (and they will LOVE it) which will give you a little more freedom.

Weve done both ship's, i would pick the miracle cruise, as your kid's are still small. Both great ship's though, but the valor is bigger & busier, with longer line's to get off each port. Cant miss with either really.

I have been on both ships. Valor in 5/06 and just last week on the Miracle. I like the miracle a little better. Both are great, so go with the itinerary you like the best.
