Calling back to the states while on the island???

I know my cell phone will probably work but I don't want any surprises on the bill after I use it, how easy is it to call home from a pay phone? What about internet cafe??

You'll probably find lower rates if you can wait until Puerto Rico or the US Virgin Islands. When I used my land line calling card from those places, the fees were not at all unreasonable.

I just checked on coverage for our upcoming trip, and based on what AT&T is saying, neither of our devices will work in Saint. Maarten/St. Martin.

 

Hmmm, does anyone have any thing to share regarding your use of an AT&T phone in SXM?
