Luggage under the bed?

This is probably on the site somewhere but the search function is down. What is the open height under the bed for luggage? I see this is a common complaint and I'm wondering if anyone measured it! Thanks.

I did not measure it, but I think that soft luggage and some of the smaller hard luggage will fit without a problem. a guess would put it at the same height as a normal bed.about 8-10 inches or so.

 

I actually looked under the bed in a cat 6 before I finished packing to make sure nothing got kicked under and never even thought for a second to put luggage under there the next time.

You can actually pick up the matress to slide the luggage under it. We were able to slide under a large suitcase plus another standard size one (one of the rolling ones). I put the rest of the luggage in the closet and still had plenty of room.:)

Unless the beds have changed in the last 2 years, I was able to fit my rolling Samsonite women's 3 suiter hard side from 1986 under the bed on both the Magic and the Wonder. It is between 6 and 7 inches tall.
