I would rent a jeep, we always do. There are places to rent a car right when you get off the ship. If you go to Aruba.com all the palces are listed there.
You can do so much stuff if you rent a car. We toured the whole desert, the natural bring, the spings, and caves. We went snorkling and to the beach and actually were able to swim out to the party boats that people paid to go on... We saw rock formations and many other things. If so easy to get around, and extremly hard to get lost.
Just watch out in the desert for sharp rocks, you dont want to get a flat tire.
Its really fun you will have a blast.
Also the best restaurant are said to be El Gaucho..(For Steak).. But if you want fish go to Bristo del Mar.. Absolutly awsome... The fish is delivered right to the place and you can sit right on the water...
After that we droped off the jeep and went to Carlos N Charlies to PARTY.... Aruba is my favorite Caribbean port...
