Pride or Glory

I am looking at booking my 2nd cruise for June. My first and only cruise was 6 years ago on the Inspiration for my honeymoon. I can't decide between Glory or Pride both are for E Carribean. I want a balcony and have been told they are sold out already on Glory. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

My first cruise was on the Pride.......LOVED IT!! Pride is a Spirit class ship, which is my favorite class of ship. They are a little smaller, and to me didn't feel as crowded as the Valor (which is a Conquest....same class as Glory). Based on double occupancy, Spirit class (Pride) holds about 850 LESS passengers than Conquest class (Glory).

Pride is very easy to find your way around. You can go all the way through from front to back on the decks with the dining room, casino, shops, showroom, bars, etc. On Conquest class you have to go up to deck 5 or 9 to get all the way through, since one dining room blocks your way through to the other side. Pride only has one dining room and it's at the very end of the ship, so nothing on the other side that you need to get to. :p

Don't get me wrong, I loved the Valor and would go on another Conquest class in a heartbeat, but Spirit class is what I prefer.

My vote would be Pride.......either one will be a great cruise for you, though. Enjoy!

Oh, and I almost forgot........WELCOME TO CC!!! ;)

Are you sure all the balcony's are sold out, i would think youll find one. We have done valor & the miracle, same kind of ship as pride, prefered the miracle, but the glory will be great to. we are going on pride in aug, western carib.

We have not yet cruised on Pride, but were on Glory in August. The atmosphere, activities, entertainment and so forth simply can't be beat. Yes, you have to cross the ship on Deck 5 to avoid the forward dining room, but it really isn't any trouble. The decorating scheme, "Colors," is beautiful as well. So far Glory is my favorite ship, though you really can't go wrong with a Carnival cruise at all!!
