First time in Belize question.

We are hearing good things about Bannister Island. This is our 1st time in Belize... Can anyone tell us the best way to get there? Is there a good excursion to book, or is it just a taxi ride from the ship? Any suggestions would be most appreciated. :rolleyes:

Banister island is a private island. It is only available for tours or you can book functions or rent the whole island. So you will need to book a tour. In Belize, due to the logistics and time restraints, it is best to book thru the cruise line. Or a tour company that has operations in the "Cruise Ship Village"
