Vista Ship's SB Class Suite Aft

Hey folks!

 

We're looking at booking the Westerdam for an Alaska trip in May. We are looking at the SB class suites and see they have two in the aft corners on the Upper Veranda deck. Has anyone stayed in these? I know that early May could have rough seas. Do you all have an opinion as to whether it will be that much worse than other parts of the ship?

 

We stayed in a VB Class veranda cabin on the Oosterdam on a rough Pacific Coast cruise for comparison purposes. Of course, we were so happy to be alone together that we were rarely sober for the four day cruise....

I believe the corner aft suites on Upper Veranda Deck are SC's. We are sailing in the one on starboard side on the E'dam next month. We previously sailed in the same cabin on Navigation Deck on the Zuiderdam and loved it. The cabin itself is slightly smaller than the suites on the sides of the ship, but the huge balcony more than makes up for that little discrepency IMHO. Motion was never a problem for us and we simply loved the views both of the ship's wake, and the side.

Thanks for the input. I'm leaning towards one of those cabins but wasn't sure about vibrations etc.

Ok, I got a good rate for an SA class suite so snagged it. Is it May yet?
