Stone Island Excursions in Mazatlan

Hello,

Last year on our journey to Mazatlan, we used Randi's Happy Horses, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Trouble is, it left us in pain for a few days:D

We would still like to go back to Stone Island and have found at least 3 places that offer tours. They are:

a) Mazatlan Tours by Johann and Sandra

http://www.mazatlantours.org/stone-island-tour.htm

b) King David Tours

http://www.mazinfo.com/kingdavid/stonemain.htm

c) Mazatlan Tours by Charter Mexico

http://mazatlan.com.mx/stoneisladtour/homepage.htm#tour

Anyone have information on these tours? We are just looking for a leisurely time on Stone Island, sipping a few beverages and having lunch and no transportation hassles. Activities are not important.

Thanks,

We booked a tour through King David for the Stone Island tour. We loved it! We arrived at our meeting place early so the driver offered a city tour for free and we got to see the main sights of the city. The driver was courteous and explained the sights to us as well as stop by places so we could take pictures at our own pace. Afterwards we got a tour of the area on a boat and we safely arrived at Stone Island. The vibe of the ppl on the tour were great and we loved our tour guide! I cannot highly recommend this tour enough.

A bit of warning...when you get off the boat there were ppl with iguanas offering to take pictures with the iguanas. They expect payment in return for posing with their iguanas...a lot of ppl didn't know this and had to fork out $5 for pictures they took with their own cameras!

Forgot to mention in my previous post...

They take care of all transportation (pick up from the cruise terminal and drop off at the cruise terminal) and it was a nice leisurely day on the beach with all you can drink (beer, juices, soda, and other mixed drinks included). The lunch was more than enough and the restuarant Molokay is clean and beautiful with roped off areas that prevent beach vendors from hassleing you. You can rent lockers for the day for $5 so you can leave your things there while you play on the beach :)
