ParrotHeadFL Posted October 31, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 31, 2004 This site says there's a rumor that Paradise Beach will start charging for admission at the end of this month. True?
solita Posted October 31, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 31, 2004 The only charge is for the use of water toys...trampoline, iceberg, kayaks, etc. It is a $5.00 wrist band for the day. In Mexico, ALL beaches are suppose to be public. Now, places can charge for the use of their chairs, umbrellas, etc but not the use of the sand and ocean. Try telling that to some of the all inclusives though! Caro
jerzzgirl Posted October 31, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 31, 2004 True there was a $5 charge and we only used the floaties but for $5 it was worth it! The beach is beautiful and we had a blast! They do enforce the rules too - we saw a guy w/out a wristband trying to grab a floatie and was told he had to pay the $5 if he wanted to use it. It's only fair! :D

Cozumel_Tom Posted November 2, 2004 #5 Share Posted November 2, 2004 Admission, lounge chairs and umbrellas are FREE. If you want to use any or all of the non-motorized equipment, (mats, iceburg, water trampoline, kayaks, and full snorkel equipment) you'll have to purchase a bracelet ($5USD) which will entitle you to unlimited use, all day long. Have fun!
